Sue has provided voice services to radio stations and other companies since 1999 in her fully digital home studio, which includes a whisper room, and a digital editing workstation. Because she does not work with an agency, you get cost-effective monthly retainers or per page project rates, and fast-turn-around.
In July of 2018, Sue left her position as the Vice President of Operations for Rubber City Radio Group overseeing programming for Country WQMX, and the operations for 3 stations, including a Classic Rock, Smooth Jazz and News/Talk to pursue her VO and writing full time.
Her previous experience includes:
- 12 years programming top-rated AC WDOK in Cleveland.
- 5 years as Director of Programming for Salem Communications.
- CCM “Fish” format in Cleveland and Chicago.
- In addition to her programming experience, Sue wrote and programmed “Your Weekend” with Jim Brickman, a 3-hour syndicated radio program heard on over 90 AC stations around the country.
A note to Program Directors: Sue understands the many hats today’s programmer wears because she’s been there. Sue is a strategic thinker, with years of experience targeting an audience to get them to tune in, stay tuned in and feel good about listening to the message they hear. She takes direction well, so that you can get the message you want with the delivery you want.
An experienced writer, Sue can not only voice the promos, liners and positioning you send, but can offer assistance in the writing and editing of your positioning and promo copy. Sue has been writing copy not only to brand her radio stations, but to help sell product.
